Tehran is ready to resume atomic discussions with Washington on condition that it is treated with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has announced.

The Iranian diplomat said exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had come from mediators to resume talks with the American leadership. He asserted Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran was not yet able to authorize the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect attacked atomic facilities for security reasons.

Navigating a Complex Route

Araghchi is walking a complex course since Iran does not want be seen to be proceeding from a position of vulnerability, and he consistently maintained that Iran had arisen more resilient in military terms and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was speaking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to refine atomic fuel within its borders that it will never give up" – the main reason of the stalemate in the previous talks.

Previous Talks Suddenly Concluded

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with US support, targeted Tehran's atomic facilities in a fortnight-long engagement that culminated with the American leader claiming the locations had been obliterated. Following this, Western states employed their right to reinstate UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a major impact.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Iran's diplomats said they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in previous talks, when it was agreed an domestic cooperative with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be certain that Iran's enrichment initiative was entirely non-military.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that US nuclear scientists could work on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the cooperative offer. Representatives stated repeatedly they had reached agreement with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to collapse due to "spoilers in Washington".

Current Position

Tehran representatives declared the partnership proposal was now no longer available, but it seems highly likely the proposal could be revived in some form if talks resume.

The US president last week claimed he had been obtaining communications that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but confidentially Iran's diplomats say they are not yet getting clear proposals from America either directly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as the Qatari government, Egypt, the Omani authorities and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been accused of non-responsiveness in the wake of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Iran says negotiations is not part of a show.

Diplomatic Stance

In his speech to the gathering, designed to depict the US as a controlling nation that abuses the idea of international law, Araghchi said the two-week conflict demonstrated the dispute could not be ended by armed force. He asserted the assaults started with a Washington's ultimatum for an unconditional Iranian surrender and culminated with an absolute demand for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is assured the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were carried out with total Washington understanding and coordination, making faith hard to rebuild.

Diplomacy Remains the Final Solution

The foreign minister declared: "Tehran was not the one that had fled negotiations; it was America and the Western nations that had repeatedly tried to enforce their will during the talks. Negotiations can still be alive and remains the ultimate answer to resolve conflicts, but its criteria, regulations and fundamentals must be respected."

"If they speak to the Iranian people with the language of dignity and respect, they will receive a reply in the equivalent language."

Repair and Recovery

In what is described by Iranian officials as the conflict of repair and recovery, the foreign minister claimed he was certain Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been restored. We gained many lessons from this engagement; we have identified our own weaknesses and the shortcomings of the enemy."

He stated: "We successfully passed this war. Our atomic expertise, which they planned to eliminate, remains in place. The sites and machinery, if damaged, will be rebuilt; what is important is the resolve of the citizens of Tehran and then the national cohesion that they targeted, but were unable to destroy. The Iranian people have grown more resilient, more cohesive, and more backing of the leadership and the country in the aftermath of this attack."
